Donations will be welcomed fo the annual PTSA sponsored Kaumana Elementary School Plant & Rummage Sale, to be staged from 7 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Oct. 5, at the school cafeteria.

Money raised at the benefit provides funds for class expenses, field trips and cultural plays, said spokeswoman Noelani Spencer.

“We would like to ask our community to donate to this yearly educational fundraising event to help defray classroom needs, cultural events/performances, and field trips,” said Spencer.

Donations of recycled treasures will be accepted from 2:30 to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 3, and again on Friday, Oct. 4, from 2:30 to 6 p.m. in the school cafeteria parking lot.

Donation receipts will be given. No televisions or monitors will be accepted.

If you have any questions, please contact Spencer at 974-4190, after 2:15 p.m. daily, or via email at Noelani_Spencer@notes.k12.hi.us.

“And on the day of the sale, please come out and support our students, so we can provide them with many learning opportunities,” said Spencer. “There will be many treasures for sale at reasonable prices. We are sure you will find something to suit your fancy.
